    sterling phantom yb ???

hello, i just got my first bp and he's ADORABLE but strangely he doesnt look quite like the other snakes ive seen with the same or similar genes as him. im not particularly concerned about his genetic makeup but i am very interested in morphs so i would still like to know what he is, because i think he mightve been wrongly advertised. he was born around mid august.
reseller sold it as super pastel cinnamon phantom yellowbelly.
im not doubting the phantom (look at those blue eyes!!) but perhaps he could be a super cinny? he has no patterns at all.

does anyone know how he's gonna be full grown? any chance hes gonna fully brown out like sterlings sometimes do?

The phantom and YB can really mess up the pattern. That and sometimes sterlings can already have a jumbled and faded pattern. The eyestripe are also very pronounced which generally doesn't happen in super cinny.
Do you know what the parents were? Because that would be the other way to figure out the possibility of something else causing it. I'm actually going to be trying to prove out sandblast in my pewter next season.

He may stay a little on the grey side, but honestly I would expect some browning. The color change on my boys has been crazy and phantom is a bit more of a dark and brown gene in some combos

oh wow thanks! i didnt know about the patterns.
i wouldve considered asking for the parents, but i got him from a reseller and they told me they werent able to put me in contact with the breeder.
i am really hoping he grows into a nice speckled chocolate brown or grayish black to be honest... i was slightly more concerned about the yellowy brown sterlings.
    what do yours look like?

Oh man... Lighting in my house is so frustrating.
My pewter het pied is a bit more browned out than he was as a baby. He had that nice charcoal kinda look when he was younger. He is a bit girl crazy now so was rebellious about being out with another boy. Somehow managed to snap a decent photo before he tried darting off again

My silver bullet (super cinny pastel) is a much calmer boy. Thankfully. He just wanted to be a cinnamon roll and was content to go home right after.
This photo is so yellowed out tho. He's a bit too brown here. Usually more of a grey. The spots on him are more tan and cream than mustard color.

And a picture of his brother that shows the colors a bit more accurately.

Thank you! They're good little noodles.
I do like how the colors on yours look at the moment tho so I hope they don't change much as they grow!
