    USARK- October Newsletter

    October Newsletter

Check out what's been going on with USARK! As we build and grow our community, we'd like to keep in touch more often about what our members are up to throughout the year.
This past month we went to the Arlington and Tinley NARBC conventions...
Did you grab some swag while you were there? If not, you can order shirts and hats online.
We have several designs to choose from: https://usark.org/shop/
Not just a place to buy herps!

A FedEx representative and her daughter got up close and personal with a Leachie for the first time. Every chance we get to do outreach is an opportunity to not only create new conservationists, but a way to dispel fears! Just look at their faces to see what a difference that one interaction made. This was at NARBC Arlington.
    Arlington Auction

Thank you to all that contributed and purchased items at the Arlington show. Those proceeds go to USARK and are used to work for YOU, our members. And as always, a big shout out to our volunteers!
    A Blessed Union

Congratulations to Adeline and Chris who tied the knot at NARBC Tinley. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
    Faces of Tinley...

We love to see all the different folks out at shows, and especially their animals! This lady was happy to tell us all about her best female breeder Leachie.
    Slept like a baby...

This rehabbed tegu had no qualms about passing out like a newborn amidst the buzz of the Tinley crowd!
    Tinley Auction Wunderkind

This sweet little lady is a member of USARK and made us jewelry from real snake sheds for our auction. She stated that she supports us at USARK because she wants everyone to be able to own reptiles.
    (Who is cutting onions?)
Since she isn't old enough to have her own snake, she was gifted a rad 3D toy snake to hold her over. We truly have a fantastic community!
Meet me in St. Louis, Louis

Come out and see us at the STL and AZ shows. Bonus points if you can volunteer. Please email vanessa@usark.org to get more information.

Not sure why this printed out looking so different (spaced way out) than it was in my in-box, but there it is anyway.
