    Normal variation

hi guys, i hope im posting this right because it’s my first time using the app. but i’ve just had my snakes hatch from a pastel lesser x orange dream lesser clutch and from this, 2 of the babies were normals.

the front baby has a slightly darker colour as well as pure black eyes with no iris visible. the behind baby has a very slightly lighter colour but the eyes are more grey, with the iris visible.

i just wanted to share because i thought it was so fascinating how 2 snakes with the same genetics can vary.

i’m probably going to keep one of these 2 just as a hobby snake, and not be bred, because i don’t own any normals. i just can’t decide which one yet!

Just because normals are common doesn't mean they aren't beautiful.

Exactly! I love the ones with rich colors like these, much more than most fancy morphs I've seen, including albinos.
