    gorgeous clutch!
You said mystic potion to soul sucker?
I'm so confused by the one that seems to be lesser in the middle... he should be white in that pairing.

Yeah, soul sucker to mystic potion. I'm gonna be posting pics to help identify the morphs soon cause I'm confused too lol. I did get 2 BELs though, they were in the group that hatched first.

Congrats! When you post them for help with IDs post a pic of parents if you can, that will help. If dam isn't a virgin, maybe she held onto some sperm from a mating to a Lesser + something BEL.

Yeah I agree with Nikkubus. Every offspring will be Mystic or Mojave from a Mystic Potion. Maybe there was a retained sperm or misidentified male.
If one passes on lesser to the offspring it would be BEL because it would be a lesser/mystic or lesser/Mojave. But the contradiction here is the one appears to only carry lesser.

Definitely post photos after they shed! I'm interested in seeing them all! =D
I have a couple of mysterious hatchlings this year too. So it would be neat to see all of yours too

Re: Hatchlings not coming out of eggs

So these are the parents. this was the females first time breeding, I raised her from a juvenile. I did put in a male sterling, but never saw a lock, neither of them seemed interested in each other. Every time I checked on them, he was curled up in the opposite side of the tub by himself. But I dont think I would have gotten any BELs from him.

I'll start a new thread here in a little while and post the link here.

    Oh that's really funny.
I have a banana possible yellowbelly that's supposed to be het for pied. So I bred her to a pewter het pied.
Well apparently she had retained sperm from a mystery BEL male and now I have a similar problem to you it seems!

I'll have to take some time to think through this. I wish I had a bit more experience with HGW, maybe that is what's messing with us. I have a Soul Sucker, but I haven't successfully hatched out a clutch from her yet. On top of that, there aren't a lot of HGW Mystic or HGW Mojave pics available to look at and compare to hatchlings.

Thats kinda what I'm thinking, it's probably the HGW. at first I was thinking they were maybe soul sucker mojave or something but im not sure about that now.
