Hatchling mayhem, again.
Hi all.
Well another season came and went for me, and due to the market this side of the pond, I didn't really breed. Which brings me to this post. I did one dinker siblings pairing, I got in a trade a few years ago, so i have no means of finding out what the parents' lineage is, that line of contact is long gone. Last year, they produced eggs, but went south a few weeks before they were due to hatch, but I thankfully got 2 eggs this season which went full term. The mother laid a total of 8 eggs, 3 duds, 3 unfertilized but good looking eggs which went off slowly, and the 2 good eggs. The two babies hatched, one fully absorbed, weighing 48gr out the egg. Two weighed 38gr out the egg, and didn't absorb. The mother was just over 1.8kg when she went off food.
So, without further ado, here are some (old) pics of the never-identified parents again, and the two babies I'd like a hand with in identifying, if at all possible... Excuse the flash lighting on the hatchling pics, but they're still going to change color a bit, they've only had 1st shed, and first meal this week past.
The father
The mother
And now, the hatchlings:
Hatchling 1
Hatchling 2
Any input on the hatchlings, or even the parents, would be appreciated. Thanks folks.
