This is the thread ive been looking for. I have someone who is moving and needs to sell their stock. I can get around 200 Frozen mice/rats for $75... But i was worried they wouldn't last (or my snakes would outgrow the size i currently have)

It depends of many things: How long they've already stored them? Are they vacuum-packed & sealed in smaller quantity packages (so you don't have to keep opening a larger bag for a few mice)?
How many snakes you have? (& that keeps changing- ) How reliable is your freezer? And is your area prone to power outages? Do you have a back up plan in case it does go out- so you don't lose all?
The right answer won't be the same for everyone.

Re: What is the absolute longest you can keep frozen rodents?
I boght a bag of 25 pups. I have about 6 left. I put the bag they came in into another freezer bag as well. Frozen pups are still good and I think the amount was perfect. My snake gobbles them down every feeding. Im going to bump him up a size when these are gone, most likely get a bag of 5 and feed every other week. In a good freezer and double bagged, just from my own experience I would say a bag of 25 is safe. But thats a weekly feeding.
