    BP smells like feet?

Hey, I've had my spider/specter since around March and he has consistently smelled like feet the entire time. He is healthy and eating and not skittish or anything and his enclosure is not dirty or overly damp so I am not sure what to make of it. My banana had no detectable odor. Their enclosures are nearly identical. Any thoughts?

Has this snake shed recently? Normally a good shed will remove any left over smell from sliding around in their own pee and such.

He has consistently smelled like feet since I got him. Before and after a shed. Before and within an hout of a soak. Before and after cleaning his inclosure. He is an adorable, eternally hungry, foot. I'm not sure *why* he smells that way. Like...it is clearly normal for him and maybe not a thing I will ever know the answer to. I have a banana bp that is in an identical enclosure who just smells like the substrate I use. I was just wondering if anyone else had ever experienced anything similar.

I was wondering about the same thing. My butter and my champagne don't smell at all. I bought a normal the other weekend who smelled strongly, and after her shed there's still some odor, but not as much. How long have you had your snake? I don't know much about snakes, but suspect that some of them might have gotten something on themselves, maybe from a dirty enclosure or something, that might take multiple sheds to go away. My non-smelling snakes came from breeders, and the one with an odor came from a big box pet store.

I've had him since early March. He came from a breeder. The banana came from petsmart. So my breeder snake smells and my petsmart snake doesn't.
