BP just squirted water from his nose???

So my BP just went into blue a few days ago, but he ate about 5 days before that n he usually passes urates & faces soon after that, so I've been checking his tub out once or twice a day, just got him out to have a little neb cause he's so pretty n blue haha n idk he seemed to have squirted water on me from his nose??? I didn't see him do it but suddenly felt wet all down the side of my lap n on my hand n when I looked down he was sort of breathing a water droplet in & out (Fluid was totally clear n didn't smell of anything)
I had listened to his breathing before that anyway as I always do n it was fine & then after the thing with the water & it was fine again, he never wheezes, squeaks or rattles
He hasn't had/never has any mucus or anything round his nose (Tho he did have a little white dry bit stuck in/around his nostril the other day, I assumed it was just a bit of dry skin n removed it with teezers)
He's always breathes sort of fast ever since I got him, but I wouldn't say panting/rapid n he calms down after I've had him out n he's explored a little bit

If he had an RI he wouldn't be eating or shedding tho??
He was chilling in his hide when I first looked at him/got him out so idk he'd had a drink first? I've only seem him drinking twice & he gets fed water thawed rats that are still damp to make sure he gets some water

    IM JUST RLLY WORRIED AHH

The discharge that is associated with RI is pretty viscous. Guessing he had a recent drink if it was "watery".

Bump cause I'm worried, he's breathing quickly but not panting?? & no wheezing etc
N cause I didn't mention before, fluid/water was just like water, not mucusy or anything, just like tap water

None of this sounds like an RI to me. Snakes can sometimes not swallow the last bit of water after drinking. I have seen this plenty of times in very healthy animals.

Once you see thick mucous coming up, bubbling, hacking/coughing, sitting with mouth open constantly, then you can start worrying about an RI. Until then try to relax.

Are you sure he just didn't recently take a drink? Had a similar scare, worked out fine. Posted on here, got some great advice.
