Where to order frozen feeder shipping boxes
As the title states I am looking for a source to purchase shipping boxes for frozen feeders wholesale . I understand it is costly to ship frozen feeders but I've seen recently many people who offer flat rates around 25$ .
Producing the feeders is not an issue at all as they are already on hand and vacuum sealed . Any help is appreciated .
Thanks

Re: Where to order frozen feeder shipping boxes
Many of the frozen rodent suppliers use thick cardboard shipping boxes lined with the soft and flexible fiberglass LOOKING insulation. I'm sure it isn't fiberglass, but that is what it resembles : )
ULine.com is probably your best bet for the materials.
Dry Ice- that is an entirely different monster. If you only use Ground shipping, on your own account, you can use dry ice. If you intend to ship by Air services (FedEx or UPS Overnight, 2Day, 3Day) then you could get in a heap of governmental and shipping trouble using dry ice. There are specific limitations and labeling issues with using dry ice on an aircraft. Be very careful and follow the rules very closely.
Because of the issues with dry ice regulation and consequences, at ShipYourReptiles our policy is no dry ice period. It just isn't worth the headache.
If you are using your own FedEx or UPS account, don't expect big Ground discounts without significant volume, at least tens of thousands of dollars in shipping per year. Ground discounts of any help are tough to get.
If you can sell and distribute locally, or within a 1 day shipping radius, that will give you the best chance of success. Best of luck!

Re: Where to order frozen feeder shipping boxes
Thanks for your input ! I had read that about dry ice already so I am trying to find a good alternative .
We currently sell locally and offer delivery within a good sized radius .. But we are always looking to expand the customer base .

A bit off topic, but curious as to where you are located as I am always looking for local versus mail order.
