Question Tub, Hide and Bowl cleaning question

A couple of curious questions for experienced keepers:

    1) What do you use to clean your tubs, hides and water bowls? F10? Dish soap (if so, what kind)? Other?
    2) Do you rotate tubs, meaning do you always return your snakes to their own tubs after cleaning (if so, why?) or a tub is a tub as long as its clean?

I use chlorahexidine and I keep my snakes in the same tubs until they move up to the next size . Just how I've always done it.

I've been using Natural Chemistry Healthy Habitat and 1 spray bottle lasts a really long time.

Generally for spot and complete cleaning of decor, and the glass terrarium my standard protocol is to spray on the HH, let it sit for a few minutes, wipe it around with a paper towel, then thoroughly rinse off with water and either let dry out or dry off with paper towel.

For the water dish I only wash with water, wipe and dry off with paper towel.

If the tub just has a bit of urate in it then I remove everything, spray with F10, and clean it out. If the snake "painted" then I swap tubs and wash it out in the bathtub before disinfecting with F10.

Plastic hides and water bowls get run through the dishwasher.

I use vinegar. I don't rotate tubs. A tub is clean or it isn't.

I use F10. Anytime there is urine, urates, or poop... I take everything out, spray the inside of the enclosure with F10, wipe hides down, clean water bowl, wipe out the F10 and put everything back in, with new paper substrate.

Dawn dish soap and very hot water cleans everything. Tubs get an extra wipe with F10 before use.

I have twice as many tubs as I have slots in the rack. To me a tub is a tub.

Re: Tub, Hide and Bowl cleaning question

Thanks for all the answers! One quick follow up, do y'all use different temporary holding bins for each snake while you are cleaning out their tubs?

I use my neck most of the time. My two crazies get put in a bin. Babies I just kind of juggle.
