    Hungry still??

So I got a normal bp about a month ago and she's been so sweet and active and never struck once at me now where I got her from they said she was a little on the aggressive side but she showed none of that to me... I was gone for the weekend so she was not handled and I fed her a fuzzy Thursday before I left,. I feed her one every Thursday so She's on a schedule well I got home Monday and was handling her and cleaning her tank and getting her more water. Well when I put her back in her tank I sat there looking for a minute and she struck at me so I put the top on and left her alone thinking she just got stressed but she didn't go to a hide right away like normal she kind of just wandered about almost like she was hunting again then when she did go to her hot hide she poked about three inches out and looked around again before going into full hide.... Could she be hunting again because she's hungry?

How big is your snake and what type of fuzzy are you feeding.

If you are feeding fuzzy mice than yes your snake is hungry, hatchlings are started on hoppers and quickly move to adults.

To know what to feed, feed a pre equal the girth size every five to 7 days to a growing BP

She is just over 2ft long and I do not currently have a scale for her but I didn't mean to say fuzzys in the beginning post my apologies. I feed her female mice and they meet her girth every 7 days.

Or you can feed two mice. Feed a second one just after the first one is past the middle of her belly when she starts looking around for more. I got a normal ball python for free, the poor thing was starved and the guy was feeding it a small hopper once every 2-3 weeks. That snake started pounding down frozen thawed, ate three adults in one sitting when I first got her until she was bulging. She was soooo skinny I felt so bad for that snake. She is looking better now, still on the thin side, but boy does she eat! She will even eat in the middle of a shed. I'd say to feed based on how she looks, if she is skinny give her a second mouse.

Short version: upload image to pic hosting site (photobucket, imgur, etc); copy direct link to that pic; click the insert image icon when creating a reply/post; paste the link within the image tags; success.
