Beautiful snake!
Sorry, I have no experience with those spots. However you may want to follow two other current threads with the same issue.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Mack The Knife, 2013
Lizzy, 2010

1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons

Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

Do you keep him in a rack? I had some snakes show very similar sores on their lower lip, either on one side, or symetrically on both sides. I consulted a veterinarian, and he told me that he saw very similar sores on animals in another collection. He said that the other collection was also kept in tubs in a rack, and that the problem ended up being that there was enough of a gap between the tub and the rack that as the Ball Python tries to explore and escape, it rubs a sore (or two) on the lower lip. When I checked my collection, sure enough, all of the snakes with the sores ended up being active snakes in tubs with a small gap between the top of the tub and the rack. I have shimmed under the front of those tubs and all the sores have healed up.

Re: Pics of my first boy! Briskets progression thread
I have him in a T-8. He was in a Vision rack prior at the breeder. I contacted him and showed him the picture and he said the mark on the front may be a bite from a mouse since he feeds live. That makes the most sense to me since none of his other snakes have ever shown any sign od disease. So I am thinking either a bit or rub. I'll watch it and see how it goes.

He wasn't super happy, but I wanted to get some pics of his face/mouth because I noticed some spots on his face that have me a little concerned, but that is for a different thread. This thread will be to document Brisket's progress as he grows and develops. I don't have a weight or anything yet but I will as soon as he poops.

Here are the pics!
He's looking good bro. You're a very proud new parent. I don't think that little sore is anything to worry about. Just keep an eye on it. The only thing i noticed is you had 11/19/15 as his DOB. That would make him a giant hatchling. haha
