What is her setup like?
Size of the enclosure, temps you are keeping her at, bedding used?

Is she loosing weight? Does she have a particular part that is swelling?
Ambient (air) temps would be great to know. What sort of light cycle is she exposed to?
How frequently were you feeding (i.e. every 4 days, every 7 days)?

Re: My baby western hognose is not eating! HELP!
She has a 10 gallon terrarium, and her body seems fine, shes active, and her bedding is crushed walnut shells. I used shredded aspen with it but changed it because she seems to enjoy the walnut shells better. Her tank has a 90 degrees(f) hot spot with a 75 degree cool spot.
Feed her every 5-9 days i vary it to add realistic ness to the wild.
first snake but i have done loads of research on almost every type of common pet snake including Western Hognose, Corn Snake, Carpet Python, rainbow boa, royal/ ball python, Kenyan sand boa, etc

Re: My baby western hognose is not eating! HELP!
If she is a just a baby you might try moving her into a 5 gallon tank and putting a couple items in for clutter. We had a similar issue with a small hoggy and found it was better at that size to have a smaller enclosure and to just use paper towel as a substrate.
Have you tried offering a live mouse pink to her? The movement may help stimulate her to eat. We have BP's as well and found it was better to thaw the mouse pink with a rat pup or other prey item that had hair on it and she was much more interested in it than just the thawed pink by itself.
Last thing, how many hours of light is she getting? We make sure ours has the sunlight that's available but I also keep a UV light on for at least 12 hours a day. The shorter daylight may be triggering her to slow down like brumation.
Not sure any of this will help but it is our experience. Best of luck to you.

Try boiling an egg and rubbing the white on the pink. Hoggies go crazy for boiled eggs. I used it at one point with my hoggy and now he's eating like a pig no problem. hope we can get your little one eating.

How are you offering the food? Live or f/t? You setting it in the 10 gallon or using tongs? You need to describe exactly how you are feeding as best as possible.
To get it to eat: Put the snake and the food in a deli cup or small container, leave it overnight. This is always the first thing I try with a trouble eater. If it doesn't work with a ft pink then use a small live one.
There are about 20 other things you can do to get a trouble eater to start feeding again. That is the 2 most basic.

Have you tried sending it with tuna water? I had to tiny tiny hogs years ago that wouldn't touch anything unless I rubbed it on an ice cube I made out of tuna water. Just get a can of tuna in water not the oil, drain the water into a ziplock bag. Freeze it, then after the mouse is frozen and then thawed and is warm rub the ice cube on its head. Always worked for me.
