I had a very nice second hand 35mm with an additional zoom lens, as a teenager. Did well with it too.
Sadly, Just can't get the hang of these digital cameras!

Cake is lovely as ever. From the thread title, I thought maybe you had been baking.

As for Elvira, Yikes! I'd be scared to death for her hanging off that little ledge like that! At least, we all now know that if our snakes escape, the attic is one more place we really should check. Maybe she was attracted to the heat?

Well, Cake just did some ambassadorial work for the reluctant SO.
There IS consensus that Cake is a cutie.

(I declined to show the Elvira escape pics. Thought that might lead in the wrong direction.)

Elvira did not escape in those pics. She was having a play day.

You can't see from the pics, but the attic door was cracked open about 1/2 inch. She could feel the warm air and see a new hiding place when she got closer.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
    Mack The Knife, 2013
    Lizzy, 2010
    Etta, 2013
    1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
    Esmarelda , 2014
    Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017

Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

Yay! Thanks for sharing with your SO. Show him all the ball pythons that are just adorable blobs, show him show him.

I wonder if you could get a nice close up shot of your Albino's eye? That'd be sick

    Updates on this pastry...

Great pictures! Cake looks amazing. I hadn't really had any interest in albinos until seeing this photo set.

Yes I can! I feel like his eye's going a little pink than the ruby red freshly after shed already, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks! His whites glow against the orange under the sun in particular, so we'd be wearing sunglasses anyway. LOL

Thanks! These high-contrast albinos look sweet in real life, and make great photogenic subjects. I'm glad these photos can bring that across well enough.
