    One down

My caramel coastal carpet arrived safe and sound today. He looks even better that I imagined. Thanks again to the incomparable Nick Mutton at Inland Reptile. His customer service was exemplary and his animals are top shelf. The snake didn't strike once but he was pretty flighty. Hence the reason why I couldn't get any good pictures. My son decided we're going to name the new guy Chomper. I'll let him settle in for a few days before feeding him. I can't wait to get my jungle in a few weeks.
Thanks again Reinz it was the picture of your coastal that made me get this guy.

    Beautiful !

    They get big fast.

Already over 6 feet at 2 years 2 months with my girl here.

The difference is, you have actual locality data from one of the top carpet breeders in the US.

    Nice choice.

Glad to see that he arrived safe and sound Ziggy. He is a beauty alright! Of course you'd expect nothing less from Nick.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

    Re: One down

I was able to get a slightly better picture of my coastal. I also threw in a picture of the jungle that the breeder, Nick Mutton, sent me yesterday. Thanks again Nick. The jungle has eaten f/t 4 times so he should be on the way in a week or two at the most. I'm so excited!

Yeah, much better pic. He is a great looking boy!

Your Jungle is awesome! Must be a "real" Jungle rather than the typical Black/Yellow.

Thanks Reinz. My jungle is hopefully going to turn into one of those typical black/yellow critters . His parents and grandparents are all pretty bright. He should "color up" in a year or so.

Well I was wondering that and then confused myself with a blonde moment I guess.

When I could not find any hint of yellow to brighten up, I thought that maybe the ivory would get whiter. I just went the wrong direction on the color scale in my brain- if that makes any sense.
