    won't eat f/t help!!!!

Hi I just got into the snake breeding world and I have a question I recently purchased 2 ball pythons 2 weeks ago and I cannot get either snake to eat. I'm trying to feed my 900g female f/t small rats and my 200g male f/t rat pups. The people I got my male from says he already eats f/t and the place I got the female from says she sometimes takes f/t. The male is extremely aggressive and strikes the rat in defense mode and the female show absolutely to interest in the rat. I'd rather not feed live especially since I bought tons of frozen already.

Make sure the husbandry is right. Give them some time to get used to their new enclosure. Offer them food once a week.

2 weeks is not very long at all. Sounds like they still need time. Dont offer more than 1x per week (they are actually less likely to eat of you offer too often), absolutely no handling and disturb them as little as possible. Theyll come around.

I'd say they need to settle into their new home for a good 2-3 weeks. It's not uncommon for that to trigger a fasting period.

But after the 2nd failed week of offering, I'd switch to every 2 week offering. Eventually hunger will take over and they should take it!
