Safe to feed mice kept on corn cob?

I found a new supply of live mice for the few ball pythons I have which only eat live mice. Better price than the old supplier. I am a bit worried because they use corn cob as bedding for the mice. He said he never saw the mice chew on the bedding but I am not sure.

Is it ok to feed these mice to my BPs? My main worry is if these mice ate corn cob bedding and are in turn eaten by the BPs could that be a problem.

My gut instinct is that the mice wouldn't eat enough of it to be a problem for something the size of a bp, and what they do eat would probably be minced into pretty tiny pieces, but someone with more experience with rodents could probably give you a better answer.

Perfectly fine, I feed my feeder rats corn on the cob... Just don't use cedar for bedding for feeder rodents....

I'm talking about that corn cob type bagged substrate though, not actual corn food. Same?

Corn cob bedding is just ground up corn cob... Corn is not harmful to your rodents or snake... I would use it, I just choose not to...
