    King ID Please! (New Pickup)

I posted in general herp, but I think my ID question got lost in my Sac expo gushing.

I went to the expo with the intention of picking up a king or milk. I was undecided until I got to the rescue/adoption booth (Unsure which organization). As soon as I saw and held her/him, I adopted.

I know he's a king, or something similar. They thought he was a Cali king morph, but didn't know which one. I would be inclined to agree, although I can't find any cali king morphs that come close, and his head is a little wrong. He reminds me of a brooks with his face speckles. The closest snake I can find that matches him is a Hypo Brooks King. What do you guys think?

Other than snake mites (ick) and a poor bruised nose (He did not like the plastic container he was displayed in!) he's perfect. I named him Limonchello, and he's just...fabulous. And I'm rather startled that someone would surrender him over to the rescue. He's getting his own display case once he's out of QT. He is just that stunning in person.

His personality is very mellow, but active. He always seems very aware, and when I walking into a room he'll turn to look at and watch me. He's not afraid of people at all, but doesn't like the fact he's caged. When he got stressed from the drive home, and even after we got home and into better housing, he was still smashing his nose for a good 6 hours. He's thankfully since settled down.

Thank you for any info, guys!

Looks like a hypo brooksi, one of the Florida kings. Not a calking, or not a pure one anyway. Neat snake either way though.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?
