Are you sure that's the same snake?

I am new to this thread and your struggle. My heart goes out to you and to her. It is not easy to take in an animal in such poor condition, knowing it is possible to loose them even after you did everything to help them. I am very surprised she is actually recovering. I was sure it would prove to be too late for her. I am glad I was wrong! To see her so much improved in so short a period of time means you are for sure doing things right. I love the name you chose, Hope is never a foolish thing. Although people will tell you it is. I look forward to seeing more pictures of her as she improves.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Yeah, it really is the same snake I found old picture from her on the internet, this pic was probably taken when the previous owner got her: http://i590.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps412e01a5.jpg

I think there is about 8 months between this ^ pic and the picture I took when she came to me.
Previous owner told me that she is "pastel something".

Could she maybe be a lemon pastel?

She looks like a pastel to me. And she is looking amazingly better! Glad you were able to get her and help her.

In 10 weeks Hope has tripled her weight and is feeding very steadily and willingly. Here is a picture taken this morning:

Everything is looking good with her. She's such a survivor!

What can be learned about this? Don't give up on them, even if it looks bad!
