Dog + Ferret = Hilarity
So, I have been ferret-sitting for my uncle for the past two days and will have little Joey for another 3 or 4. I've been slowly introducing him to my dog, Kira and now they are the best of friends.  Today I let them play around together on the floor and they were having a ball!  Before anyone asks, my house is definitely not ferret-proof, hence the leash on Joey. If anything happened to the little guy on my watch, I'd never forgive myself. Anyway, here are a couple of videos that I took of them playing today. Hilarity ensues.

They are easy! Younger the ferret, easier it is. Mine do it naturally. And the new additions just copy the older ones.

Really??? I had a ferret when I was younger (in my late teens) and I couldn't get her to potty train for anything! Any wall, any corner! What's the secret?

Thanks guys. Joey has been a lot of fun to keep and really not that hard to take care of. He is pretty good about only going potty in his litter pan, though sometimes he swings his butt around and completely misses it. He has yet to potty on the floor and has the sweetest personality. It's nice to have a little house guest like this, because I can't have one of my own. Thanks for the compliment on Kira. She's my pride and joy.....pretty much like having a child, lol.
