Green Bars...???
Not sure if this is where i need ask or not...but what are the green bars located under our screen names? Ive noticed some users have more bars than others, and i recently just received my second bar but i do not know why or how.
Im assuming this is some sort of veteran or frequency marking, but how does it work?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Also, the status under our screen names but above the green bars, for example, mine says Registered User...how can that be changed? Ive seen other members with a different status. Is this only something a Veteran Member can change?

The green bars relate to your reputation level. The more green bars, the higher your reputation number is.
You get reputation when people "Thank" your posts, or give you Rep with the +R- button at the bottom of each post.
Getting your second bar is a good thing. It means you are helpful and play well with others

I think the Registered User status changes to BP.net Veteran after a certain amount of time as a member of the forum. I don't think your post count has anything to do with it, but then again, I learn new stuff about this forum all the time, so I could be wrong on that.
If you chose to support the site as a Gold, or Platinum member, you can choose your own status (as long as it's within the TOS of the site)
