My First Ball Python, Hydra :*
Soo I'm not sure if this is supposed to be "introduction" or anything but I just wanted to say hello to everyone and I'm happy to be here because I love reptiles and I just got my first Ball python ever Shes a juvinile not sure how old , but not small , over a foot 2 feet maybe give or take. I named her Hydra and I LOVE her. I got her 3 days ago and honestly we've already gotten a long SO well. I started handeling her the first night I got her and she just stayed balled up and I would stroke her an such until she decided to come explore. And now I get her out all the time and she sometimes is in a ball but comes out very quickly after I handle her for a minute and pet her. I think I picked the perfect match for me. She seems to be extrememly comfortable around me and never acts scared or mean. Ive even tooken her out and she loved it haha. Everyone was like "wow shes so comfortable with you already !!" Im sure some people say you should leave them be for a week or so, but I didnt and it seems to have worked out AWESOME. Shes happier with me out of her cage then in it. She loves when I take her out. So I guess it just depends on the snake but I would advise if their not "snappy or scared" then handle them as much as possible. Because my snake I've had for 3 days and shes already completely comfortable with me. So yea I'd love to see evryones and meet some new friends and get to know everyone. I'm 19 my name is Raychel and my pets are a bearded dragon (baby) named Magnetos , a leopard gecko named Izzii and NOW Hydra my new ball python :*
Now I'm new to this so I'm not sure how to insert pics and such so for now I'll just give ya guys this link to my album of her on facebook. And tonight when I get off work I'll upload a new album for her and show pics of all my pets. But I gotta run so have a good day night to all , cheers !

Nice looking girl you got there! Welcome to the site and the addiction!! LOL
I like the petco feeder container! I got a few of those boxes back in the day before I got more then one snake and found it to be cheaper to breed my own. Couldn't imagine paying $5-10 per rat for my collection now.
