I don't know if this is the correct place

Hey guys just picked up a zilla critter cage off Craigs list. The person that had it before me had RES in it. She let them go in the canal . Yeah I B*** at her fo rit. anyways the tank has that hard white water stains on it. How do I get that off? I washed the tank with dawn dish soap and gonna hit it with diluted bleach later on. I'm just gonna use the tank for a snake. I know the tank can't really hold water so I was a little confused when she told me she had RES in it. So can anyone help.

Have you tried a Brillo pad? They usually work pretty well.

Vinegar. Just spray and let soak with plain old vinegar. Repeat if necessary. Rinse like crazy before putting anything in there, obviously, for the smell. But at least it is all natural.

I believe I live in the state with the hardest water in the US - we use bottled water for everything because it stains the terrarium glass so badly. But from my tea pot to my rice cooker, they all get a vinegar treatment every few months. Easy and cheap and works like a charm. (And just as good as those crazy chemical solutions. CLR? Is that it?)
Mostly Leos and Cresties, but also
1.0 Human (wild caught next door, but taming nicely)
