True, but we are at liberty to correct them. As long as we remain civil and provide actual facts in our defense, we may yet make a positive impact.

Even if, in theory, every Burmese python owner were irresponsible or their snakes otherwise got loose, the majority of the US has this season called "winter" that comes in the form of below freezing temps (if not subzero, like in my part of the country) that would cull any populating, constricting tropical snakes. Typical kneejerk reaction. I find it puzzling that they are looking to pass such an absurd law on the national level.

Might as well ban camping in The Plains--you might get tagged by a copperhead or rattler
