heating!
Hi there everybody! I got a baby western hog today, which is being kept in a 10
qt. rubbermade bin. I've looked all over for a heat source, but im still unsure on
what to do. I have an appropriately sized UTH , but it say on the pad not to use on plastic bins.So im puzzled
any help & suggestions would be very helpful

Re: heating!
its fine on plastic as long as you can regulate it, which is important cause those things can get hot enough to burn you at 130+

is it safe? he digs through the substrate and tries to lay right on it. I've heard putting cage carpet solves this problem?

Hoggies burrow and back heat works best with them.
You can either keep room at 84 and thats it or give him a temp of 86 via back heat and your fine.
