will a thunderstorm effect the humidity level inside the house or even inside a snake's terrarium?
i've been monitoring/adjusting my girl's humidity cuz she's in shed and i checked it earlier and it was 82% then 3 hrs later it was reading "HI" which i think means it's 90%+ but theres no condensation.
i know the rule for humidity is 50-60% normally & 60-70% during shed but i've let it get 80% - "HI" & my girl has had good complete sheds. also the higher i let it go (with no condensation) the longer it takes to drop below 60%, which = less intrusions in the terrarium spraying bark.
normally the 2 water dishes keep the humidity between 50-60% all by themselves and i really only have to wet the towel on the screen and spray the bark occasionally.
ok so back to my original Q...it makes sense that the weather would effect the humidity just like summer heat/winter cold will effect temps but i just thought i'd double check to see if it's true or not.
