I know it's been done with corn snakes by collecting semen spill from a regular breeding and squirting it into the cloaca of another female. I heard it had worked for someone and decided to try it with one of my female corns last year. I used the spill from a huge male corn that spilled plenty of extra semen. Despite several attempts with it, my experiment female laid a pile of slugs, while the other two females that were bred to him produced fertile eggs..... so I don't think I will be trying it again myself anytime soon. I can see that there are some cases where it might be potentially useful, though, such as producing hybrids, breeding a female with a tail amputation or breeding a newer female that is still on quarentine.
