Pink Belly Scales?
I think I might have a problem with my female. I have noticed a lot of moisture condensing on the inside of her enclosure while the male is in with her. I try to wipe it out whenever I see it. However I noticed her belly scales are turning pink. Could this be due to her being cooled down or too much moisture? How can I correct this if it is a problem? She is starting to look dull as if she is about to go into a shed cycle. Might be her pre-ovulation shed. She has locked up with the male several times. I just want to make sure everything is ok with her. The temp in her enclosure is 79.5 degrees and the humidity is reading 72%.

Pink/Orange is usually a pre-shed condition. It could also be caused by irritation of her rubbing her belly alot on wet substrate, but I'm guessing shed.
Add more holes to the enclosure to get rid of extra moisture or stop whatever is making the substrate so wet.

Re: Pink Belly Scales?
Thanks everybody, Her enclosure gets erally humid after she urinates. For substrate, I'm a newspaper kind of person. Easy to cleanup.

Well i used to get condensation with paper towels, but it would come and go on occasion depending on season. Also i use cypress in my CB-70 tubs and there is alwasy condensation on the front, but just because i keep humidity high and the cypress helps.
Pink belly scales are usually a good sign of a fast approaching shed, most of my larger females do that when they go into shed, younger snakes seem to just go!
