I was over on the World of Ball Python's genetic wizard (http://www.worldofballpythons.com/wizard/) trying to figure out what a pairing between my male Killer Bee and female Black Pewter could possibly yield and I'm a little confused with the result.
This is what it told me:
Killer bee x Black Pewter
12.5% Super Pastel/Spider/Black Pastel
12.5% Killer Bee
12.5% Pastel/Black Pastel/Spider
12.5% Bumble bee
12.5% Super Pastel/Black Pastel
12.5% Super Pastel
12.5% Black Pewter
12.5% Pastel
Punnet square:
Normal Black Pastel Pastel Back Pastel/Pastel
Pastel
Pastel/Spider
Is this right? The only thing I don’t understand is where does the normal gene come in on this Punnet square? I figured since the Black Pewter is a double codom there wouldn't be a normal gene there to cause the possibility of a regular pastel coming out of this. Are these % right for this pairing?
