    Hi,

Ball pythons can move their eyes just fine - it's just tricky to see on the dark eyed morphs.

Yep, they move their eyes! Their eyecaps are analogous to our eyelids, just clear and sealed shut. They can move their eyes around behind them.

Re: do snakes move their eyes?

I can't tell if my ball does, but with my RTB, you can hold her head and tilt it around and her eye stays in the same position. It's pretty cool. I'm sure she can move it, but she's probably just focused on a part of the room.

Re: do snakes move their eyes?

All snakes move their eyes, they just have a clear scale that goes over their eye to protect it since they don't have eyelids.

The thing I love about Bloods is their eye movement, my Bloods move their eyes so much more than my other snakes do. They are VERY observative

I definitely enjoy watching my Borneo's eyes move. But if you look at him at the right angle, he looks incredibly cross eyed haha.
