Re: My snake got out of his cage!!!
I've read alot of snakes don't go much further than 5 ft from their enclosure, so look near there first. Then move on to clothing drawers.

Put flour around the doorways and sides of your rooms before night-time. When you wake up examine them all to get an idea of where he's moving around to.

Re: My snake got out of his cage!!!
If it's trained well, you can try calling it's name.
If not, put it's favorite hide near the cage that it escaped from, and check in there often.
For every 15-foot python out in the Everglades, there are thousands of species of clams, trees, cats, grasses and birds that are wrecking just as much havoc across the globe. So, for all the headaches the snakes are causing, I at least applaud them for being scary enough to get people's attention.

Re: My snake got out of his cage!!!
Have you found him yet?
I'm waiting for you to say you did.
I say you find him no later than Monday night.
I'm putting 5 mice on it.
Anyone care to call?

Re: My snake got out of his cage!!!
To give you some ideas on where to look, here's where I have found mine - during escapes (Delilah escaped twice before moving into a tub) and supervised "roaming time," when I actually knew where they were...
- Top of a very tall bookshelf
- Squished behind the dresser wrapped in wires
- Inside my soft guitar case, behind a chair in the living room (they always go there when I let them roam)
- Inside a box
- Under a bookshelf
- Actually in the wall, due to an unknown (and tiny) hole under the wall-unit
They like warm, dark spots, the tighter the better, and will typically move around at night... so if you haven't found him yet, it might be time for an all-night vigil. Using the prey to coax them out works sometimes, if they're close enough to smell it - that worked when Mona got into the wall, but unfortunately she kept darting back in since I was watching. Good luck, and I hope you find him soon - if you haven't already!
