Handling simultaneously.

I recently introduced my bumblebee to my normal, both are only a few months old and are living in seperate vivs. I have plans to breed them one day.
When I first took them out together I enjoyed them intertwining around my hands and they seemed perfectly fine.

However, after they tied themselves in a knot by their spores I freaked out (would they try to lock at such a silly young age!?).

My questions are:
What are your views on handling your bps simultaneously, in terms of stress?
Would the bps become familiar with one another and would this affect breeding?

Introducing BP's together isn't going to effect breeding in any way.

Personally I feel that that only time 2 BP's need to come into contact with each other is during breeding. Not that handling 2 together will cause any issues 99% of the time.

I'm doubting that they were trying to lock, they are both really small. Plus they are pretty shy about breeding, sometimes unlocking just because you look at them so I doubt they would breed in your hand. I'm guessing they were trying to find something to hold on to, maybe they thought they were going to fall.

How old are they??? The bumble bee looks really young :) Both beautiful!

I didn't think they were actually breeding, it just occurred to me in that second that it might not be a good idea to handle together. They were cute though :p

Bee I think is a couple of months and normal was born early september! Wish I had actual birthdates :(

I handle my Bp's together, especially for group photoshoots and I have observed such behaviors. Sometimes my BPs will curl around eachother and tangle together in my hand. It's just a weigh of holding on, I certainly don't think mating was on their mind.

Just curious, what are the weights of your snakes?

Na... they are too young for that, but let me just say that both snakes are gorgeous
