    Baybeh ASF's!!!
    FINALLY!!!

One of my 2 mother ASF's Laid!

I have been wondering when she was going to lay. She spent a whole week in the corner of their tub in a nice little nest of bedding.

    I woke up and BAM!

    13 BABIES!!!

    WOOT

Not bad for her first litter. I cant wait for the other mother to lay!

Its neat watching the other mother help her take care of the babies. Even the dad lays with them and grooms them. ASF's are such an amazing family based rat!

Here are pics of the new borns. Sorry for the quality!

Lol we talk snakes too much! ASFs don't "lay" their babies, they give birth to them :P

I'm guilty as well! I often point out "gravid" ASFs and wonder when they will lay their next clutch

    Congrats on the pinks!

    Congratulations!

Yes, they are born somewhat fuzzy. Mine are starting to crawl now and they're so adorable! Mom did have me a nip when I checked on them the day I found out they were born, so don't get surprised!
Also, if its a first time Mom, there is a chance for pinkiecide. Found it out the hard way!

    What colors are you expecting?
