He's a little more chilled, but still got work to do with him.
He doesn't trust me yet...he's getting there though.

Yafe is still so/so about coming out. He can get jumpy/jerky when touched in the cage, and/or grab everything and anything in sight and wrap tightly, making it more difficult to get him out! Those perches in his tank do not help! I have already got him hook trained, and that's good, because the hook often startles or upsets him. However, once I have him in my hands, or wrapped around my arm now, he's getting pretty good and pretty calm. He's a lot more like my corn snakes in terms of activity, but with less confidence so far. However, it's building. I know you have other snakes, including a Boa, who are a dream to handle 99% of the time. I am learning that Carpet Pythons take a little more time to trust and be confident and comfortable. However, I've also seen that when bigger and more confident, they can be pretty chill and curious and rewarding as well.

Keep up the good work building trust with Kenny and it should pay off. He's still really tiny and carpets are known to need time to settle in and calm down. I think you are doing great so far.

    Crazy timing JM!
I had him out a few hours ago and took some pictures. I'll post them soon. Finishing homework with the kids atm, but I'll post them for sure. :gj:

    Very good!

I had Kevin out for a bit today so this is timely.
