Connie, thanks for the advice! You are so very helpful and I'm totally enjoying this section. My husband is the snake keeper and I try to be the rat keeper.

I think I'll try to get a friendly baby and see how that goes.

Wow, I thought she was a he and his name was Lawrence. I thought Lawrence was a grown-up name for a snake but I thought maybe that was the name give to him (her) when you got him (her). Boy do I feel lame! Then again, I don't think I've ever met a pet named Lourdes. :P

They're just like little toddlers, they cant hold it in at this age. As they grow up a little, they usually wont poop on you, and rarely pee on you.

Although, my 2 pet boys like to piddle on me as they run around the room.

Mostly just this one, he thinks I'm his. :8:

Hey I know how it is! Chris usually spot cleans of the snakes before I'm even home, and I go and play with the rats when I get in!

FrankyKeno also recommended this, get a bucket to keep in the fridge with the left over, and at the end of the week, split it out to the rats. They LOVE it! LOL, my rats are totally spoiled. They get the crumbs from cereal boxes, left overs from dinner, stuff like that.

There is a short list of what not to give them, but generally they can eat what we eat.
