    maybe this anecdote will help - i have tried to keep wild caught widows before in containers i kept my medicine (cannabis) in that i converted into terrariums and they didn’t survive - i think it’s curious, to me at least, that the meal worms survived at all - i wouldn’t use them (especially since the psychotropic effects are a natural defense mechanism which may be more acutely felt by reptiles? idk but maybe)

    Seems like we're pretty unanimous on this- just not worth the risk. Our creatures are so tiny compared to us, so the amount that might affect them could be truly minute.
