Commissioned Illustration
I drew this last week in Adobe Illustrator 13 for Felix Stone, a producer and owner of FlexTone Records. It's 3 colors, and incorporates zero gradients, save one for the background. I had a lot of fun doing it, and I really like how it turned out, so I thought I'd share. Thanks for looking.

Awesome vectors man!!!
I wish I had the patients to do something like this!
Re: Commissioned Illustration
That IS awesome. Especially the fact that you did all that using only three colors. A lot of people don't realize just how much you can do with a few colors. :gj:

Thanks, Pat. It's easy, for me at least, if it's something I'm really digging. When I can't wait to see what I can come up with, the time flies. It took about 8 hours over three days.

Thanks, Chris. Not only did I only use three colors, but I made a palette with only 2 screens or mixes for each of the two Pantone colors, so the entire palette used was only 7 swatches including the solid black. If a shade or color wasn't one of the 7 swatches, you won't find it here.

Here's a closeup of the boards to show the level of detail in the vector art.
