    Super Fire x Piebald???
I'm thinking of pairing my male super fire and female piebald...anyone have any idea of what the outcome might be if breeding is successful?! I can't really decide what I'd be likely to end up with. The pied is medium pied and the super fire has two light patches.
    Thanks a bunch!!

All fire het pied babies. Bred back to the mom you can get fire pieds (They look like this). You could breed the babies together to try for a super fire pied, but I don't think you'd be able to easily tell if it was a super fire pied, seeing as the snake would be nearly all white anyway.

There isn't a "decision" as you put it. You're guaranteed to end up with nothing but Fire het Pied hatchlings. This pairing is as easy to predict as it gets. :)

oh nice! thanks! would these pieds have large amounts of white on them seeing as the medium pied and super fire are so white?
no chance I could produce another lucy with this pairing then? :(

They would not look like Pieds at all. Piebald is a recessive gene. They'd all look like single gene Fires with the addition of carrying the Pied gene to pass along to their own offspring down the line.

As far as the amount of white on Pieds, it's completely random - low white can make high white and high can make low.

thanks this is all really useful info. so I could raise some fires, pair these to the pied mom and then how likely would it be to get fire pieds? is it difficult?

    The odds are as follows:
    Male:
    Fire, Het Piebald
    Female:
    Percent Fraction Traits
    25% 1/4 Pyro Pied
    25% 1/4 Piebald
    25% 1/4 Fire, Het Piebald
    25% 1/4 Het Piebald

As far as difficulty goes, you're talking about a multiple year project and a fair amount of patience.

Sure there is. Find a male Fire Pied or Fire het Pied so you don't have to produce your own and pair him to your Pied female. :D
