    Thats right guys my first BP ate his first meal (A Frozen one) without a hitch man it feels good it sorta like a dad whos kid just took his first steps man im so proud of my little Loki il love that little guy man :-)

    just 1 question i think that he might of ate it backwards does that matter and how often do you guys think i should feed him i was thinking every 4-5 days or at least once a week.

    Backwards, Frontwards, sidewards....it does not matter how the rodent goes down ;)

    Feed him once a week. Pick a day and feed on that day every week. Consistancy is good for ball pythons :D Also, you may want to keep records of feeding and shedding. That info can be very helpful sometimes.

    Ok i will do that once a week then and um i will get a calendar book or something to keep track of that oh yeah also how often should they poop
    and it should look like a "Log" right

    They poop when they need to. You can keep a record book, write things on a little card you keep attached to the tank or even use a program like www.degei.com if you want to. Weekly feeding of any appropriate sized prey is best. Ball pythons are creatures of habit and they do well with routine. BP's will pass urates (dry chalky whitish lumps) or liquid urine and their poop pretty much looks like what cats do. Congrats on your successful feeding!

    Allright Thanks guys for all the advice and i like that idea about keeping it on/attached to the cage i know i would have never thought of it

    CONGRATS!!! If he refusues to eat just wait till the next week/scheduled feeding time to try again. Just some advice

    congrats!!!! that is sooooo exciting :D:D:D:D:D

    i keep track of everyone's shedding/moulting and eating on my computer... each critter has it's own "stickie" (as i have a mac) and i just open it up and add info whenever needed :)
