Looking like it's going to shed but doesn't?

OK, so I have two snakes, both king snakes that got blue eyed and their skin turned a bit pale. So I figured they were going to shed so I sprayed some water in the tubs to help them shed out. But today when I opened the tubs their eyes were clear and their skin was back to normal with no shed in the tub. I've recently used a mite spray (Natural Chemistry Reptile Relief Spray), maybe that was the culprit? I have them on white paper towels as a substrate.

Most snakes will go blue for a few days, then they'll clear up. They usually shed a few days after the clearing stage.

It can take anywhere from 7-14 days from them first going pale to actually shedding; nothing to worry about.

Yes, I just figure that out! LOL I actually reduced my humidity and then the snake shed!
