I can't find my ball python's shed skin?

My ball python just came out of his humidity box(I use a humidity box because I am unfortunately not able to keep the tank humid enough) and I don't see any shed skin. His eyes are clear and his belly isn't pink anymore. I'm sorry I know this is stupid question but has he not shed yet? Do their eyes clear up before they shed? Or have I just not found the skin yet? Or have I done something wrong??

Yes, their eyes clear and they look normal for a few days before actually shedding.

Snakes cloud up prior to shedding, but "go clear" (look very normal*) right before they actually shed. You didn't find the shed because he hasn't undressed yet, lol.

*A snake's body actually secretes some fluid between the old & new layers, making it LOOK like they've already shed, but they haven't, & yes even their eyes will clear up.

And it's not a dumb question...not many creatures do weird things like snakes do...that's why they're so interesting & fun to know.

As above plus quite often the discarded skin can be found in a messy , rolled up ball under one of the hides , days later as mentioned .
Royal sheds don’t make good display snakes in my experience ..
