Re: Behira - 2016 Female Ivory Ghost - First BCI

Pics of Mom with Behira below.

Behira ate tonight. She's doing great. Really thickening up.

Mom is in awe of her size, already, but still thinks she is a sweetheart and is happy to hold her. She tends to hold Behira standing up when I am cleaning her tank or cleaning/changing her water. I've taught her that's easier than sitting in the chair with her. In the chair, she wants climb around everywhere and explore behind the chair, under the chair, around the chair, etc. At her size, easier to hold her standing and just let her climb on you.

Behira continues to grow on large rats every 3 weeks. She's doing fantastic and is still my chill baby boa. She's just not so small anymore.

Behira is looking wonderful, and is doubling as a fun headdress for your mother in those first two photos, haha!

Re: Behira - 2016 Female Ivory Ghost - First BCI

Dry, Behira is 3.1kg. She had been closer to 3.2kg, but I think that was a little high. She's had some substantial wastes since then and was below 3.1kg a feeding ago, but now is even at 3.1kg. She looks muscular, lean, and has a perfect boa shape. So, no concerns. I think it was just an abnormality when she hit about 3.2kg. She's still growing on large rats every 3 weeks.

My sister Ally held her tonight while I cleaned Behira's tank. Behira is still incredibly inquisitive and so docile. She's a great snake.

Keep in mind the pics below are from her 6X2' tank. She's got her head 6+ inches out of the tank and wrapped around, is front wall to back wall, and still 4ish feet in. She's grown nicely and is probably close to 6.5ft.

Behira just shed. I did not get a weight on her, but she's about 3.2kg +/-.

She's doing amazingly well and continues to be calm and docile and great with handling. She also still eats like a pig!

Thought I'd post some pics post shed.
