    My new Pastel Lesser

He is 6 months old and I got him 2 weeks ago... I never got to posting like the week I got him but he is the best little noodle ever! I did some research for his name and I named him Tambi. It means noodle in Swahili. He is so great, and he is a great eater (from what I can tell) I have fed him twice and he strikes immediately.

This is him as soon as I put him in... I got him from a convention and he was in a ball in his bag
This was him today begging for food even though he gets food tomorrow

    Welcome!

Congrats on your first! He looks great!

Also: I try to avoid any decoration/hide that have an enclosed opening that I would have trouble cutting if the snake was to get stuck in it. No issue if you keep track of their relative size--I notice that resin log in the photo...recently someone posted their ball python getting stuck in a decoration which is why I even bother to mention it.

Oh that would be horrible if he got stuck . I might look for new enrichment... Or maybe could it be a option to somehow cover/tape the holes in the log? I think that would work...

Don't ever use tape inside the enclosure, it can get stuck on them really bad.

Try putting some fake plants and maybe a half log hide if you need to clutter up the cage more. Hes Pretty little snake

Yes I saw that post, it was a pretty horrific post, I hope his noodle is recovering well.

    Re: My new Pastel Lesser

I think I might turn this into a progression of his growth because he is my first snake... Fun story (I don't have a photo) so I woke up at like 12:00 at night and Tambi was doing a scope... I woke my roommate up just to say "MY ROPE DID A SCOPE!!!". Needless to say my roommate is not happy with me right now... This is Tambi's picture from last night...
P.S I am getting a new half log soon and I'm getting more "plants"!
