Rainbow broke my feeding tongs.....
I had a cheap pair of tongs I was using to feed her and the last feeding she hit so hard the grab broke the tongs and had to carefully remove them while she was constricting her food. Looking for suggestions on a better quality pair. Want something 4 to 5 feet long. Keep in mind she is hitting the 18 foot mark and is heavier than 60lbs.

I assume you're familiar with Midwest? But I didn't look, I hope they carry something "in your size" lol.... https://tongs.com/

I use these. Have only had them since Christmas, and the burm isn’t big yet. But I’m sure they will do well. And the mechanism to open/close the tongs isn’t a cable. It’s a solid piece.

As others have said, Midwest. I used those for All my big snakes. They are strong enough to easily hold rabbits.

I'd try these haha. I've never heard one break tongs. If it can hold down steel, it can withstand a snake haha

I don't really use tongs on my 11.5' retic. I just throw the rabbit/chicken into the cage on the opposite end and close the door. She eventually finds it. But I may check out those Midwest tongs mentioned for the future.
