    Enclosure furnishings for 10' Burm?

I'm part of a group of folks who are helping a keeper whose home burned down. He ran back in to rescue his 11 year old Burmese Python. He, his wife, and the snake are all OK but they lost everything. We're getting a new 6x2x2 enclosure/RHP/thermostat for him, and I was wondering what enclosure furnishings might be good. I don't have any snakes that big myself, so wanted to check here. Maybe a good big branch? I assume we don't want to clutter things too much. We got him a big no-spill water bowl and are doing a DIY hide out of a big plastic dishwashing bin, but any suggestions for anything else that would be helpful are appreciated.

Clean newspaper for substrate, small chest freezer, and a supply of feeders would be my priorities once the snakes had undumpable water bowls and hides.

I agree with bcr. A snake that size in an enclosure of those dimensions doesn't allow much, if any, room for sturdy furnishings that will withstand what I'm guessing is a 40-50lb+ snake. Shelter, heat, water, and feeders would be my priorities as well.

That is the way I was leaning but I just wasn't sure, as my biggest snakes certainly aren't anywhere near the size of a Burm. Thank you!

Editing to add: Who makes the big rolls of ridged paper liners for enclosures? I know a couple of Boa breeders who really like it, as their snakes seem more comfortable on the slightly ridged substrate than on smooth paper.

Uline is the quickest answer, but I've heard their shipping is a bit absurd recently. Google corrugated cardboard roll and see what looks to be the most economical option

I wouldn't worry about cage furnishings personally, esp in this rush situation.
The most would be down the line, a hide maybe but not needed.
My ex and his dad house a large burm that was rescued from a pet store fire, lots of vet visits for the smoke damage but he pulled through. It sounds like these people got the snake out quickly so *knock on wood* it should be okay.

I just hate uline as they are competition for the company I work for XD
Anyways, I use single face corrugated for all my adult boas as it gives a lot more traction than flat paper.
Since I no longer work in the office and can get at cost (since before the pandemic) - I buy it on amazon. A vendor I like to use is tape logic. It's usually $50-60 for the 250' roll with free shipping.
I prefer B flute as the 'waves' are larger but A flute works as well and is cheaper
