    What kind of snake is this?

    Hi!
    I looked out my patio window and saw this snake! I took a picture and Ineed help with the ID! I have no clue what it is.

    You can tell them apart a few ways, but a quick glance at the milk snake's y or v shaped white head stamp is usually different from a corn's arrowhead stamp. In some cases the animal's location could clue you in, but I think that may be more true in the Northeast.
