    Help!! First ever clutch

    Hi all,
I’m just asking for some advice my female pastel laid her first clutch this week I checked her on Tuesday and there were no eggs but then I was working away until Friday when I checked her Friday she had laid 6 healthy eggs. I have candles them all and they all looked good however, I’m worried as they are looking a little deflated all advice greatly appreciated
    TIA

I hope you don't mind. I took the liberty of adding your pictures to the thread. The first time I tried the link it didn't work and I thought others might have the same trouble.

The eggs are deflated but they look good so as long as you keep them at a bit higher humidity they should be fine. You can try adding sphagnum moss to the container, putting a "cave" of damp paper towels over the eggs for a few days (making sure that the paper towel doesn't touch them), and/or using press and seal and covering all ventilation.

    I agree with Erie_herps ^ ^ ^ post. I think they'll be fine with a bit of "TLC".

    Re: Help!! First ever clutch

Thank you everyone I feel a little bit relieved now knowing things might be okay. I have check the box today and the humidity is nice and high at 99% I put press n seal on top and I think it is working a charm. Re- candled them and they are all looking really good and good veins through out hopefully they will pull through with an extra bit of help. Thanks to everyone 😊😊

    Update

So today I said I would just candle all the eggs just to see if they were doing okay I have left them alone since they were laid 2 weeks ago just to give them some time to settle and to see if they were viable. I’m happy to report that all eggs had good veins and I was actually able to see all of them moving around a little which was quite exciting. I have kept the humidity levels up in the incubator and I’m still a little worried about the smallest egg in the middle as they are still looking a little deflated I’m going to try and leave them be now until hatching just to ensure that I’m not losing humidity. Hopefully all will go make it to hatching. If anyone has any more advice please don’t hesitate to drop some useful tips. Thanks again iv also attached a picture(I hope ) of how the eggs are looking today that black spot on one of the eggs also isn’t mold it’s just an area that where it was stick to another egg and was a little hard to remove

    6 health eggs

So with just over 2 weeks to go until the eggs should be hatching iv been keeping a close eye on the and they are all doing really well I had a quick look at them today and they was movement in all 6 eggs all with good health looking veins. Once all the eggs have hatched I will update with some pictures and let everyone know how it went. Just out of curiosity how many days would you guys say from laying that I should cut/expect the babies to be hatching just so o can ensure the best possible result looking at the days they are currently at 40 days so I just want to have everything ready a prepared in time 😊
