    Sadly our granddaughters spending more time here kinda impacted on my bigger snakes .. I was under pressure from the wife anyways... to reduce the number of snakes ( 24) as she only initially agreed to me having ONE

    It just seemed logical to stick with the Royals and Corn snakes as I can get them out for the girls to watch and touch knowing that every one is completely trustworthy and calm ..

    I never really felt that way with the Boas , Burms and Retics ..

    What size enclosure were you keeping your SD in?

    Im going to be starting mine off in a 40gallon breeder, I have a 1 1/2 inch pvc pipe perch set up in the middle for him to climb on/bask, hopefully he uses it!
