    how to make banana pinstripes

hello everyone, My birthday is coming up soon and my girl friend wants to get me a ball python for my birthday. Ive always wanted banana pinstripes. Currently i have no knowledge on breeding or genetics. I am not planning to even start figuring it all out for a few years. So my question is could someone give me some info on if i need a male banana, and female pinstripes, or vise versa? once again, i am not going to be breeding for years to come...... Just gonna start raising up my first two for my first clutch in 4 or 5 years. thanks all!

Early Happy Birthday!! If your not ready looking into breeding yet you can always just get a banana pin https://www.morphmarket.com/us/searc...tore=&country= . But if your serious about breeding later down the line it doesn't really matter which is pin or which is banana when it comes to your male or female. But it does matter if you want to branch out into other morphs.

Thank you, I'm going to get the pinstripe now because they are pretty cheap and then in a year or two get a banana. I would like that to be my first pairing ever in 5 or so years. Thanks for your info!!!!!

If you want to go with your plan, I'd recommend getting a female pinstripe first. Females could take 2 to 3 years before they are ready to breed, male about a year on average.

that's what i was planning to do. If i get a female now and then wait 3-4 years for her to be mature the banana BP's should have gone down in price even more significantly and be even more affordable. I'm looking forward to doing this over the next 5 or 6 years.

Um.... I see a Pastel Banana for $90, you can't get much lower than that LOL

I also see a female pinstripe for $50. If you got them from the same breeder they could ship them together and you would save on the shipping.

I just found a female pinstripe that is het for albino. If i were to breed to a male banana would that mean i could get some albinos as well as banana pinstripes? I know i probs sound kinda like an uneducated idiot right now and like i haven't done any deep down research. Don't worry, I will before i Breed in 5+ years.
