    Am I just tripping?

Took Imogen out to handle her for a bit and I saw these spots on her tummy. I never noticed them before. Does it look like anything? Should I be worried?

is it just this one section or is it all over?

it definitely looks like something is under the scales, and i do not think you're trippin'.

EDIT: what type of substrate do you use?

It starts a couple inches from her head, like 8 or 9 and goes all the way down, seems like the spots get more scattered and less once they get closer to her tail. I tried to get a better pic, but she doesn’t want to cooperate. I use zoo med forest floor.

when was the last shed? is it possible this is new coloration that you might not have noticed right away? being all over is a bit relieving as it seems to me it's just part of the pattern.

i don't know the Spider morph that well so take all this with a grain of salt.

Her last shed was at the beginning of April. I haven’t handled her much since to be honest so that may as well be a new pattern she’s gained. Nothing else seems to be wrong. Everything is good with her temps and all. And she just ate Sunday morning just fine. I will keep an eye on her to make sure nothing else develops.

Thank you for your help! You’ve eased my worries a bit.

    P.S. she’s a Pewter 🙂

I'm no expert but I do know some snakes get more spots/freckles as they get older, that might be all this is but i'd still keep an eye on her just to be sure.

Thank you, that may be all it is. I just get real worrisome. I will be checking on her more to make sure nothing else comes up.
